every year in Fort Bragg, California, USA. Paul Bunyon is an American "Folk Hero" who was a giant! He was a logger, and Fort Bragg is a logger town! So every year the parties start, the parade goes through downtown, and everybody comes out! Antique cars, horseback riders, fire engines, street jalopies, moms with babies in strollers, school marching bands...its an old fashioned family centered GOOD OL' TIME! Anyone else's hometown celebrate a "Folk Hero"? Who's yours?
