when should you conceive?

At what age do you think it is best to conceive and what age should you stop trying for a baby?
I had my first daughter at 16, which I know, was rather young.
If I had my time over I would have liked to have been in my middle 20s.
So what age should you stop trying for a baby?
If I had a baby at 45. … when that child was 20 I would be 65.
I don't think its fair on the child to grow up with elderly parents do you?

Not sure there's a right answer to this one. Personally I think there is a point in life which is too young and another point that is too old. Where those points are for each person is probably different depending on: circumstances, experience, careers and last but not least finding the right partner for themselves.
