Do you live in Malaysia? Do you know anything about the reclaimation of land off Penang? I used to live there a long time ago and I recently looked on google earth and the area where the ferry terminals were, is now all cleared and looks like it is being reclaimed.

Where in Indonesia are you? Can you please comment on the tsunami in my other topic. I am interested in what is being done for the victims of the tsunami in Indonesia.

i'm from Penang, Malaysia but i dont think there's any changes in the ferry terminals cos they are still there as it is many years back...i dont think there are any chances. i do know that there's some work done at the Tanjung Tokong area (you will pass by Tanjung Tokong on the way to Batu Ferringhi) and they've build up a mosque there...so that will change the whole map of Penang, i guess
