What's your favorite non-radio-single for System of a Down?

By the way, I'm not counting Sugar in this list, because it was a radio single a loooong time ago. My vote so far is for Jet Pilot or Deer Dance. The vote will change once I get Mesmerize, Hypnotize, and Steal This Album, though - I don't have either of those, although I've heard half of the songs off of STA.
By the way, has anyone seen SOAD live? I want to, but I want someone to tell me how good they are live, first.

no system is not good live. yes they perform well, but daron sucks live,soundwise. there are plenty of better guitarists out there who deserve sponsorship from ibanez. im not saying daron sucks. yes hes wild on stage and all, but youd expect better skills from a guitarist who comes from a phenomenal rockband like SOAD. on the CD yes he sounds huge, but live, he misses a lot of notes. maybe because he jumps around a lot, or hes drunk like hell. Anyway, i like Needles and Forest. i like the semi blast beat in Needles into half time drums and muted drop C chugs. hahaha

I think Daron has a pretty good sound live, at least guitar-wise, it seems to be in perfect tune all of the time, so I have no complaints on that matter. He could be a little more professional on stage though, that's correct and I have to agree with.

I would have to go with Deer Dance. Though it is hard to pick just one.

Yeah, I would agree. I think "Deer Dance" is my favorite non-radio single from System Of A Down. I specially like the bridge part where all's left is the bassline, then the drumbeats enter and serj's soft words complimented by guitar arpeggios before proceeding to the bruising chorus. Genius.

my favorite SOAD song is tentative and dreaming from Hypnotize. you should listen to Mesmerize and Hypnotize. their song little differen from STA or toxicity. but you will love duet between Daron and Serj in almost songs on those 2 album.
and i think hypnotize is slighly better than mesmerize..:D

I'll have to go with Deer Dance, I think it is quite underrated by some of the fans. It features some of the best guitar riffs SOAD ever jammed into a record, and also as some lyrics where you can make perfect sense out of them, unlike with some of their other songs. Jet Pilot has never attracted me much. Forest is another great non-radio SOAD song that has never got the much attention that it certainly deserves.
