I have to admit. I don't watch Grey's Anatomy. I accidentaly saw this particular songs video on MTV and i just got hooked. Then I remembered my sister's CD collection and borrowed it, and I've been playing that damn song for GOD know's how long.
Hahaha! I'm into the LSS (Last Song Syndrome) again...

I also do not watch Grey's Anatomy. I heard this song by Snow Patrol on the radio one day and yes-I immediately liked it. I also do the same thing--get hooked on a song for a long time.

Yeah, the lyrics is quite simple but it's straight and not straight to the point, if you catch my drift... :)Quite catchy.

Well, I think Chasing Cars is an honest, vulnerable love song. It's the song that got me to listen to more Snow Patrol Songs. Gary Lightbody rocks! His gift for songwriting is absolutely amazing.

I can't understand the draw towards Chasing Cars. It's a good song but it's not great. In terms of Snow Patrol material, I'd actually rate it near the bottom. Run and Chocolate from the first CD are much better anthemic songs than Chasing Cars in my opinion.
