I simply love reading out poems from my favourite collections with my spouse besides me or even to friends who care to listen. One poem that I simply love is 'is liye khara raha..' by harivans rai bacchan. This poem is in hindi but has words that simply reverberate within you for a long time.

I already did both!
My husband thanked me endlessly when I wrote a poem for him.
But whenever I sing to him, he usually sings along with me because he has a knack for harmony... that or he just finds my voice annoying! Hahah! :)

In our partnership, I am the singer. At our wedding, my husband's sister read a poem that he had written in high school. He cannot sing, but is a very romantic man. I sing everything.

i would prefer a song. for me, it's more soothing to hear and it's really romantic when someone is singing for you

I've done both. There's not much different. It is the intention behind the act that makes it special.
