eggs in microwave

Scrambled eggs are so quick and easy. Take a small bowl, melt a tiny bit of butter or margarine (15-20 seconds max). Beat together a couple of eggs, a bit of milk and salt & pepper to taste. Microwave on max power for 1.5-2 minutes, stopping once or twice to stir them up. I like to do this for a fast protein at breakfast... and the clean up is great -- just a bowl to wash instead of dragging out a frying pan.

I have often wondered about eggs in microwaves, thank you for enlightening me.

They will pop in the mirco wave. So they will have to be scrambled, or the yolk pierced. Put it in to a micro dish covered with air to vent. About 40 seconds on high.

i dont think you can cook egs in the microwave....i never tryed to but i hurd that you cant.i hurd that if you put egs in the microwave they will blow up!!!

This is my oldest granddaughter's favorite way to have her eggs cooked. I put them in a small microwave safe bowl and break the yolk with a toothpick. I cook them for 1 and 1/2 minutes.

I do the same thing wit hthe eggs and the milk, I just mic it and count 20 seconds per egg.. I do not add that other stuff though. Makes good smooth scrambled eggs - DNatureofDTrain

I always put a little water in a bowl and scramble my egg with a fork, put in microwave for 1 to 1.5 minutes. It will rise like a souffle'. Then it is done and so soft and fluffly. My Mother tried to boil one in her microwave and trust me that will not work!

u cant directly boil and cook the egg as awhole in microwave but u can broke it and can make any dish which u like

You can't cook an egg in a whole in a microwave like i mean as boiled egg. . Y can only make an omlet from it ..

i do not know,and i want to know it .but i think maybe it is layed on a dish and put into microwave for 2 minutes.

I don't cook eggs on a microwave. It's not wise thinking in terms of health and electricity consumption concerns.
