Why is it so hard to find a true friend?

For me, it's really hard to find a friend. Each one of us have different personalities,perceptions,attitude,etc. But, how can I find someone that always be here at my side, listen to my problems, always there to cheer me up, and support whatever comes to my life? Now, I have lot of friends, I consider two persons as my best friends...:)

it's really hard..i've been with so many people but only few stand out to be what we always wanted to have as our friends..just be witty in finding the right one(s)..

i have a couple of very true friends. yes it is tough to get true friends. sometimes it takes minutes and sometimes years. but it is tough. those who have real true friends, you are damn lucky!
