my favorite part of the movie is also the first battle scene. im a sucker for battles like that. haha.

My favorite part is the opening battle, where they fire 15,000 flaming arrows. It kept me thinking how many men did they use on that particular scene, plus they have to provide each of them a costume. Whew!!! I love the way Russel Crow said, "On my signal, Unleash hell" Also the part where he saw his family hanging and burned. I was touched by that scene...

The best part, imo, was when Maximus was on horse back and uttered that memorable soundbite. "On my signal, unleash Hell!"

All of the movie was great and love watching it over and over again. My favorite part was at the end as he was dying, he was walking in the field brushing his hand against what looked like wheat. For some reason, that part was moving.

I think this one would win in the polls it seems to be the climactic parts such as these that people seem to enjoy the most.

2 scenes...these 2 scenes creates an emotion inexplainable everytime i recollects it. 1st-When during the middle of his fight as gladiator he climbes up the horse,gets hold of its reins and races{combined with the majestic music} 2nd-When he removes his helmet and reveals himself with that dialogue...OOH...is'nt it breath taking?

Agreed,the dialogue that i am Maxim Father of a slain son and husband of a raped wife and I shall have my venegance in this world or the next.This when he was talking to the emperor himself, a man who was responsible for all of his misfortunes.

The best seen i like is the dialogue when he said when he was facing the king towards the end of that movie. The dialogue is that he was the commander of the north and father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife and he will take his revenge in this life or the next.

the part when maximus scaped from the camp when he was framed... it showed why he is the general and why he is to be the successor of the throne...
