The Truth About Witchcraft

I am 100 % modern witch. As defined by the English Oxford dictionary "Witchcraft" is a Celtic (pronounced Kell-tick) word meaning the wise, good people. "Wicce" (wick-kay) designates a female Witch whereas "Wicca" (wick-kah) designates a male Witch. We come from every socio-economic and ethnic background... many Witches are professional people holding positions of responsibility such as Doctors, Nurses, Police Officers, Teachers etc. Witchcraft does not discriminate against color or ethnic origin and does view everything as equal in the eyes of the Goddess and the God. Often you see the use of magic wands in children's cartoons and movies making the idea seem frivolous. In actuality they are used in healing for directing energy.

Witchcraft is very true and very old...Wicca is also true (newer though)...Vodou and Hoodoo are also true and very real....and there are many of us here on MyLot actually. There is nothing evil about it which is something I want to make very clear, there never has been anything evil about it..That being said, what is it you want to know? I'm sure there are many of us here that could help you out.

To be a witch, first you must believe in God and the Goddess. For the power comes from light as well as darkness. Since there is a dark side of power, people always suspect that Witchcraft is devil worship. But it is not so. The darkside refers to the Mother, which was there before the light God.

witch craft, well, it isnt jus imagination in history there are sooo many incidents, which has happened, due to some magic or out of natural . so i blv witch craft do exist but it wont be like they hav another world like we hav harry potter there might be magic but not a magical dynasty

I do believe that witchcraft exits.. somehow it had been a part of history and may had been forgotten because of the people who opposed it.. It also has something to do with faith because without it would never be possible to gain knoldege and power about it.

Yes witchcraft is real. I am wiccan, I have been all my life as has many generations of my family. There are wanna be witches--ppl who just go out and try spells, dress up and wish they were witches and then true witches--ppl who study and know the laws of a true witch.

I am a catholic and I am still a wiccan. There are lots of us out there. The catholic church does not accept wicca but it is not evil.
