does associated content pay only people from the U.S.?

i wanted to make some money by being a freelancer writer..i went to that site and registered but they say that it pays only legal U.S. residents??? am from India..will they pay me??

Yes, associatedcontent pays only to US residents. I have myself created an account in this site just to realize that it is not meant for non-US residents. I am an Indian too and I write articles, but I couldn't get a had in AC.

Associated Content is a pretty good site, one of the better ones. And yes, they pay only legal US residents. Unfortunate...because like you, I am too from India and I too wanted to write for them.As I notice this post is nearly I year old. Did U have any success since then?
