If on welfare, couple kids , Should you have to have a tubal ligation for women and vasectomy for men to get befits?

While I can think of a few people who would be good candidates for this.. It's just not possible. While a lot of people make it their lifes work to live off the system and get everything for free... There really are people who only need/use it for a short period of time because they are at a low spot in their life and they'll get out of it. Ask me about mandating foodstamps and we REALLY have a great convo!-Maybe I'll go start that topic!

Oh Gosh Mommy.. but think about it.. how would you go about picking the people to fix and not to fix? If they are smart enough to skaroo the system, I'm sure they'd be smart enough to "outsmart" them.. Although I do have to say, I'm glad medicaid pays for elective tubals.. Bravo!

Since welfare may only be a temporary measure, any sugestion of surgical birth control is monsterous!!!
