Toyota Camry is rated #1! My last 3 new cars have been Camrys, and I have never had a problem with them. It's a Japanese company, but I understand that they are assembled mostly in the U.S. now. I don't care who makes it, as long as they keep the quality.

it has to be germany. I've take a course about cultur. The Germans tend to be more cautious, sistematic, follow the rule, more theory and don't really spontanious. The Anericans more spontanious, more about doing things, flexible.
The Germans would do many researchs,testing..until the car is really, really safe and suitable to be in the market. Because of the waiting, they may get less money but gain trust for reliability.
The American's approach is to sell it first and see how it goes, maybe do some fix along the way, they would get more money because they sell it first but maybe not so reliable.

People please stop discussing about facts. Untill now the best car makers is Germany and there is no doubt about that.Mercedes and BMW are the best examples. No need for service for many years after you buy it. The cars that i mentioned are the most popular cars in my country (Macedonia). The only reason that they mention Mustang is because that it is the only good thing that they are producing. Actually a huge country like that should be producing more and better, but as we can see the whole country depends on those imported cars and brands. END OF DISCUSSION.
