The mask slipknot wears doesn't really affect how I like this band. I'm just curious how their faces looked like. Do they feel comfortable on those maskes? Is it true that slipknot is a composed of members from different band? Doesn't really matter who they are. Bottom line they're one of the best band.

I guess its they're own way to represent their music's fashion. They're are lot of hardcore bands I know that wears mask too. They're not that famous though.

i just think that they want to look different from others and to hide their identity.

They use masks not just because they hide their faces. In some info that i read from the internet(can't remember what site it is) that they wear mask as what their personality is and some info from what i read is some people judge them from their faces so they plan to take a mask on one of their concerts then other members follow the other member that starte wearing mask.

i always figured it was a way to make them different from other bands and to reflect their personality and attitude and music styler

clown came to a practice once with a clown mask on. never took it off, no one could see what his facial expressions were and it kinda freaked them out a lil, but in a good way. they all liked it so they went out and everyone got their own masks. i think corey made his first one, but im not sure, (it couldve been the hellbringer looking guy), i think he says it somewhere on voliminal, their DVD, but im not too sure. after thast thewy started getting them custom made so they fit better, looked cooler and the way they wanted them.

Slipknot wears their mask because that's their signature appearance like GWAR,Mushroomhead and KISS did before them. I'm my opinion it also helps distinguish some members of slipknot from their other bands( StoneSour,Murderdolls, DJ Starscream).

its their impressionism, the ways and art they make makes people curious and with this curiousity, music is discovered to be more of the essence than of their look, but i do love them a lot... i have heard that most of them 9 of them are mixtures of different bands from npopular to popular known in countries, but whatever they begin with, the symphony of rock rules in their beat, not to mention the best drummer featured, slipknots drummer ey! vocals rock, no voice of grip, all soulful frequency of force and energy when he screams!!!
wait and bleed... (G0oDbyE!)

They all wear them to represent how they feel inside.. I read that in an article about them. Also, if you're curious to what they look like maskless, I recommend checking on YouTube for their maskless interviews from their new DVD. I wouldn't recommend the DVD though, was a bit pointless.

they wear matching uniform jumpsuits and custom made masks inspired by facets of their respective personalities.
