Dear friends Last year I had been to the remote India on assignment of marketing survey regarding the pesticied usage in INDIA. I have observed that the farmers are leargely unaware of the facts like which pesticide to be used in what condition and to what dosage. And the farmers are more dependent on the sources such as venders and distributors for such information. Because of incomlete and/or wrong information. This resultes into undue losses and frustrations in farmers. I want to do something with this and this regard I want to know some facts about farmer's economics my questions are 1 what is the average profit level on annualized basis that a farmer can typically draw from cash and non cash crops what is the corresponding level of profit in the developed contries 2 Which are the crops that produce most monitory benifits 3 can anybody suggest me the referrance to these ficures and statistical data on these issues
