Relationship Advice!!

How do you make a relationship last a lifetime? Some things I thought of were trust and respect. What else can you advise? Any other advice?

Off the top of my head.... patience (LOTS of patience), laughter (including the ability to laugh at one's self), learn to say "I'm sorry" and mean it, romance, thoughtfulness, cooperation, honesty, keep an open mind, be a good listener, be happy with yourself so that you can be happy with your partner.

Thanks! I understand the patience part. She takes soooooo long to get ready to go places, but I will work on my patience. Thanks for the advice!
