No offense please but I know a lot my so called friends are born-again christians but in reality they will not be that friendly unless you too are a converted born-again christian. They are a bunch of plastics in my honest opinion.

Actually you just have to know who are reaaly born again christians coz there are the proffessing type, the convinced type and the committed type-you know these are mentioned in the parable of the sower in the bible..and also when you say born again christians it's not about religion or a name label like engr. or archt.,skilled in their ways, it's actually a change in life or a change of heart...born again it means there is a change in a person's life from bad to good because they have a personal relationship in God..Some are still in the process and some are already matured. It doesn't mean being a born again will change you overnight..the good thing is you just choose the right path to walk but we cant judge some of them since they are also people bound to mistakes just like us may it be born again or not we will still commit mistakes but the difference is that if you are already matured in faith as a christian you will be able to forgive and understand what's really being like the heart of jesus...Dont take their offenses by heart my friend just learn to understand/forgive some are still in the process or just faking (like the proffessing or the convinced type) but there are also some who are really genuine :)

But what I'm talking about are their attitudes. I have known a lot of christians for the past 14 years, young and old, and I'll tell you what, they'd rather talk to fellow christians than people of different sect or religion. They also think they feel saved coz they think accepting christ in their life makes them a new person but I know a lot of these people but they still commit wrong-doings intentionally.

Well, unfortunately not ALL true christians are friendly...and that is sad.....Christians are not supposed to spand ALL their time with the unsaved...but that doesnt mean they should not love and befriend them....after all, how can we lead others if we dont befriend them?
Christians are SUPPOSED TO love and befriend everybody, but sadly some dont... and that makes the christians that care have a much more difficult job...

I know what you're talking about.
Those people who claim to be "born again" but then look down on anyone who isn't.
I had a friend who got pregnant and then married the guy who got her pregnant. After the wedding she went back to church and began judging everyone!
At that time I was living with my (now) husband and she made a remark about how I was "living in sin".
I thought, "who are you to judge?"
I think a true christian is full of compassion and never judges others. Everyone sins, even they do AFTER they've been "born-again".
I think some people just lose sight of what it really means to be a true christian.
