Does LCD - Monitor Effects eyes?

Hey as the V Tube Monitors are hard for eyes if we use them for long, is it the same with LCD or can we use it for as long as we want?

i never tried to know that ... i had a protective screen once after my monitor... now i dont.

Yes LCD monitors affect the eyes if you stay much time because you are staring at a luminous object which is very close to you. I have some eye problems because I stayed too much on the computer and I have only used an LCD monitor.

thats because you constantly stare at the sceen now because of rays that come out of a CRT

nahhhhhhh LCD - MOnitor do not effect eyes as CRT monitors do.... they r also called as radiation free monitors.. so u can trust them if u had plan to purchase it

I am not aware of any side effects of using an LCD monitor for the eyes. My personal experience is that I can work for a longer duration of time using an LCD screen since my eyes dont get tired that easy on it. Where as on a normal monitor I get tired after exposure to the screen for long hours for sure.

no i dont thing there is such problem with lcd bcoz i too use the same one
