i've been infected by spysheriff, pleeaasse help!!!!

i recently downloaded some small file which claimed tthat it scanned for spyware. it was not from spysheriff.com. but then norton antivirus detected some viirus and deleted all files immediately. when i opened internet explorer, it showed amessage saying that you are infected with spyware,blah,blah,blah. to remove it there was allink which took me to spysheriff.com. i searched the net for its removal and followed some tips. i also did system restore as soon as possible. now i'm not facing any problem , but will i face any in the future? do you have any software or manual instructions to remove it? please respond quickly before my computer will sucumb to its injuries.
