Repititious prayer...Is it really necessary?

For me prayer must come form within and not reading from it. Why do we need to repeat it?Isnt god that powerful enough that he already know what you say right before you think of it?Just curious.What are your thoughts about this matter?

Praying - works no matter how you do it
I think prayer is a matter of personal preference. I don't think you get any more action by doing a 'learned' and repetitive prayer then doing a single from the heart one in your own words. I think God listens to us all, no matter what, if we take the time to talk to him.
