What's the configuration of a good gaming pc especially for today's game?.

Gaming requires a pc Power House , so can anyone tell a good compatible hardware which can boost up the performace of Pc for gaming...

I think minimum system requirements should be 2GHz P4 PC with: 512MB System Ram 180GB hard disk space DVD-Rom/Writer drive Windows XP/2000/Vista Latest Graphic Card for better video resolution will just do fine in my opinion.
