What cell phone company do you recommend?

My husband is getting ready to start driving over the road and we are trying to find a good cell phone company. We have checked into several companies and so far Sprint PCS seems to have the most features for us. I am just wondering if anyone else has any experience with them and your thoughts. If not what cell company would you recommend? He will be traveling coast to coast and will need alot of minutes if not unlimited.

I notice that you are from West Virginia too. We have cellular One. We travel to South Carolina frequently and found that we have coverage most of the way. There are a few places for a few miles where we do not have tower. In our area, Cellular One is the only phone that will work.They seem to have a monopoly on the towers. I have a friend who has family in Clarksburg and they too have cellular one. Having service that has the best reception and towers would be my number 1 concern if I was driving on the highways in WV. My brother drives Eighteen wheelers and he has cellular one also. He says in the Marlington area he cant get tower at all.

Thanks for the response. We used to have Cellular One but we didn't get good service. I would be on my phone and not even move and the service would drop. So far with Sprint we don't lose service in very many areas. We are also checking into US Cellular to see what kind of coverage they have.
