this is what Ronald Reagon was and still is. It's a very sad day in america, as one of what I consider greatest leaders in the world ever has died. Europe didn't like him at the time, several people here thought he was crazy, but nobody can deny the defeat of the berlin wall, liberation of eastern europe, and the fall of the soviet empire. http://www.foxnews.com/ He is on the front page news, of course. He was a great republican, and one of george bushes heroes. There are some similiarities between the two as well. Reagon didn't wait around for the soviets to attack america or europe, he decided to make them fear us instead, which he did and eventually led to the demise of the soviet union. Bush, like Reagon, is not waitng around for the terrorists to attack us, he is attacking them first. Reagon created fear in the soviets mind by letting them know we were going to develope the most sophisticated anti-missile defesne in the world, which was called Star Wars then. Bush is spending billions of dollars on this star wars idea of reagon, though the new name is NMD (national missile defense). They both have ranches, one in texas, and the other is in california. Most of these ideas of his were not liked in his time, but later were honored, as is the will be the same case for President Bush.
