Do you prefer to be addressed as Sir/Ma'am in the office?

You are recently promoted from office clerk to a managerial position at work. With the new job title ("Manager"/"Supervisor")comes new responsibilities and of course, power and control. Do you require your colleagues (your buddies/friends at work) to call you Sir/Ma'am now or would the first-name basis be fine with you?

Sometimes it sounds nice but mostly we call each other even to our CEO by his First name. It removed the fear of seniority from mind and help to communicate better.

Sir/Miss/Madam sounds great! But we call our names here in the office.
