Stereotypes

What do think about stereotypes? Do you like to be stereotyped? For example: We often hear why are women so emotional? Or all men think about is one thing. Cops are bad. Rich people are snobs, who think they are better than others.
I personally don't like stereotypes, what about you?
Please no one word responses. I'll read and rate each reply. I'll try to answer as much as I can but want to say thanks in advance for any responses.

We really can't help ourselves. We are
programmed be repeat encounters with all
types of people, good, bad and in between.
The problem is over the years we tend to
remember the most dramatic characteristics
of people we come in contact with. Therefore,
our minds immediately identify with the easiest
things we remember about these dramatic encounters.
It sucks but it's inescapable.
