Tips for getting more responces on your topics

Well we don't get much responces after tring very hard but still we get more than normal.
I have few tips to share on how to get more responces on disucssions we make.
1. We need a large friends list of myLot, because mostly people after logging in first check the new discussions by their friends and respond them.
2. Keep the discussion short and to the point, if its long many members will ignore reading the text
and they won't even respond to that discussion.
3. Write in Such a way that its understood by everyone and everything is clear.
4. Subject should be attractive so mostly members when they see it click to see whats inside.
5. In every discussion put a question for the other member to come and respond. If you only put some information that isn't for debate you'll end up with few thanku responces only.

as i can see you have many posts over here and most of the posts are being replied too..! i think ur suggestions would work..thanks for this...
and yes keep a bit low when u come to talk about wars..:)
there already are some wars going on in the real world...y create wars on net now?

I am fairly new here and very new as compared to you. Thank you very much for the tips that you have provided. I will try to stick to them and see how my reponses increase. Up till now I am not getting a lot of responses at all.

You are right about your advice and I see you are doing good in most of your discussions, actually I came here from my friends discussions :) But I don't like to have big friends list, I prefer to choose them wisely and don't accept spammers or those who post trash discussions and posts, I always check profiles first. anyway I reply to discussions mostly and started very few ones.
