I would say my guitar is inexpensive, but not cheap.
It has given me so much enjoyment and I only paid $75.00 for my Yamaha FG-410 and I have had it for 4 years now. Great investment.
I bought mine from a friend that was buying a new one.
I bought my first guitar, I've only had two, from a student that was given it as a Christmas gift, but what she really wanted was a scanner. What a coincidence, I had two scanners and wanted a guitar so I could learn.
That guitar only cost me $40.00 and it was mine for my first three years learning guitar.
It's been a blast.

Just for everyone's info, Lumanog is a local guitar manufacturer/retailer in our country (Philippines), Most beginners in our country go for that brand, i hate to say this but most of their guitars SUCKS!! Some of their guitars are made of Plywood! if you put a gauge 12 strings, you'll end up breaking your guitar. some models sells for Php800.00 (US$16.00)

I have a fender strat the Eric Clapton model Blackie. I also have a acoustic that is a takamine g series it was cheap but sounds great. I have played guitar for over 25 yrs and I have found Fender to be one of the best in sound and quality.
