will googletalk replace yahoomessenger?

I guess so.. I'm kinda' getting addicted using GTalk more often..

i only tried it once, i like yahoo better than this one, hey try skype it also has better features.

i used to have it on my computer, but i think that still not as great as Yahoo messenger or Live messenger so i dont use it anymore

well gTAlk is much simpler to use and download .so i always prefer gtalk to yahooM

Cant say about the distant future, but as of now i think yahoo masenger will rule. Its opens the whle world infront of u, unlike in gtalk where u can chat only with the people who r in ur list. Also massenger has berrer user friendly interface. Only in one thing i think gtalk us taking the lead is that its bit more faster then massenger.

I don't think so... Yahoo! Messenger is best and its growing faster with Plug-Ins. If you want, you too can develop your own plug-in and publish... Yahoo! Rocks..

no i dont think so that g-talk can replace yahoo messenger. the first reason is that in gtalk u can chat only to the frnds added in ur list but in y-messenger the whole woeld is open to u to chat.and secondly yahoo messenger has a better user graphical interface.

I've never even heard of that before. The program that will overtake Yahoo!Messenger is MSN Messenger since it already comes with the computer. There are programs out there now where you can get all your IMs in one place (I believe one is called GAIN)
