i would suggest you go for intel dual core. it is very good. the processing speed is very high. and also you can go for a special tpe of bus available with it that makes the machine even more faster
you should go for the dual ccore2 coz it really is fast.amd has some problems like they don't have much service in india. it also produces lot of heat so u will have to add additional fans.
