Here in Philadelphia we are having one warm winter. I watched Al Gores' "An Inconvienent Truth" and found it alarming. The weather all over the world is more irratic and violent. As many of us recycle, use wind mills for electric power, and walk instead of drive, I wonder if we're making any difference at all considering the big guys of the worst polluters are ignoring it all.

i think we are all affected by this global warming. in the philippines, we are experiencing extremes in weather conditions. usually it gets pretty cold in december, but not this year. and nowdays, you simply cannot go out uncovered because the sun will practically burn you --- no kidding! i guess, this tells us to do something, to really go our there, make some action to save the world. we can no longer be passive about what's happening now or that will be the end of humanity. sounds morbid?

It's interesting to me that so far away, the philippines, even you have the same thing. We have had 27 straight days of temps from 50ish during the day and 40ish at night. It's freaky. Everyone is sick and I mean everyone. Tomorrow it's going up to 70! I think it's because it's not getting cold enough to kill off the germs. My neighbor has flies in her house, she's freaking out. Does anyone remember when we were children and the seasons were definable? Winter,Spring,Summer and Fall? I use enery saver light bulbs,I recycle like crazy,I walk instead of drive,I have windmill energy for part of my electric and I can only hope that others will find a way to do their part. I guess if everyone did something, maybe it will make a difference, I pray they will and I pray it works.

I live in Perth AUSTRALIA, our weather pattern has been noticably eratic and out of wack for the last two years. I keep hearing them say on the news that Australia is going to suffer the most from Climate Change, and it,s really scaring me. Unfortanately the Government don't think it,s that bad here. We the people must take action now, every one of us. There is more of us in our communities than there are Pollititions. Start by changing our light globes over to the Energy Saver Globes, Dig your vegetable peeling into the garden beds so it helps improve the soil, which in turn it will hold the water better and give nutrients to the plants. If your nieghbour looks at you wierdly, tell them what your doing and explain why. Think twice befor having a nice hot bath ... just to relax in. Put a bucket in your shower to catch the water while your waiting for it to get hot. Then use that bucket of water on pot plants Fix any leaking taps, toilet cysterns that keep running. Come on everybody we really need to change our way of thinking in our every day life. Get a wind up clock intsead of an electric one.
