I feel very sad and I want to share with u what i feel since 5 days ago. I received a long distance call from Philippines lst 30th and it was my siter, she can't speak and i was really alarmed..after few minutes she spoken to me and told me rusty was dead...tears came out of my eyes so sudden after i hear the word "She's dead"...i really missed her. I was away from home 2 years now and before I live, she used to sleep on my luggage trying to tell me "please take me"...everytime i remember her, i wanted to cry...and for the past months, i was planning to go home for vacation to see my family and my beloved dog. I planned to go home on FEb or March thinking that I will see her...But after 30th of December, everything has changed. If you can see, i used to put her picture in some discussions and responses I had. I really missed her. And you know what is the worst thing beyond this? She died not because she was sick, it is because some kids shot her with an air gun on the stomach...she just gave birth few weeks ago... Why there are such people who don't have heart??? I mourn her death....I miss you RUSTY!!!

I feel sad about what happened to your dog. I know its painful to lose a dof especially if you really treat them as one of your family. Just think of the happy moments of your dog rusty. I also have a 2 japanese spitz, they just turn 2 last Jan 2. I don't know how would i feel if they would leave me. For 2 years they are my companion, whenever i feel sad they comfort me, when i'm happy, they also feel happy. That's why i feel very disappointed when someone hurt dog, i really felt bad when i see an irresponsible dog owner. They didn't know how dogs can help them and dog is very loyal.

hi there. thanks for the comforting words. I remember rusty when she was on that age, around 2. I was really fond of taking him everywhere I go. When we go out of town she is with her. It's been a month when I posted this discussion and still I'm not over her. I actually on the process of finishing a song for her. I made one for her but in Filipino. I missed her a lot!

Oh, i'm sorry of what had happened to your dog. It's so sad that one of the members in the house, past away.. I know your dog is like your kid and one of the members of the family, and i understand how do you feel.. If i'm in your situation, i will cry too, and i will feel very sad and depressed..I almost cry her while reading your discussion, because i'm an emotional person and i do sympathize people who really feel sad..I'm so sorry..

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm a dog lover myself and it is really sad to lose one. But I'm sure that you took real good care of Rusty when she's still alive and you should feel better because of that.

Oh, that's really cruel. I'm sorry about what happened. The animals here are just not treated right unlike in the U.S. where animal rights is strictly observed. Losing your pet is just like losing a loved one and maybe it hurts more because you're away, you weren't able to do anything about it and you weren't able to hold him one last time. Unfortunately, there's nothing else that you or anyone else could do but accept the fact that he is gone. And just be thankful for the fact that once in your life, a friend made you happy-Rusty. Maybe you can get a new pet there where you can keep an eye on him and you two can be there for each other. Maybe name her after Rusty in honor of his memory.

Hi there! Thank you very much for choosing my post as the best response. It's nice that Rusty was able to leave a living memory. I think that makes you really lucky.

oh im so sorry to hear that. i hope by now, you've recovered from the pain, although, im sure every now and then the memory of your beloved dog will still make u cry. i myself have dogs and are overly protective of them, theyre like our babies, they sleep inside our room as well. i hope those people who shot your dog, will have what they deserve.
