Hello to all Metallica lovers. Like every other band they have their problems but i think that main problem is that band members dont talk anymore to each other. You can see this cristal clear. I mean look at their album, ST.Anger. A lots of their fans agree that this is their worst cd. On that album i only like one song, ST.Anger. I have read in newspapers that they are going to publish their next album which will sound as their early albums for example Master of Puppets.
Do you think that they ll get their lost fans back with new album?

Why not? They will get their fans back new the latest album only if the fans were true music lovers. I cannot live without music. People want to listen a song not to watch their problem. My favorite song from Metallica is Wiskey In The Jar. In this music track, they sings with moody.

I also love music, and its nice that people actually understand what i am trying to say. I am sure that they ll get their fans back, and i am expecting their next concert in my country. But i still didn't got that $100 for my ticket on their canceled concert. Please guys don't do this ever again. Dont cancel concerts.

According to my husband they are going back to how they use to play not using all that computer generated crap. They are going back to their sound they had when they first began, and I read on the internet that they admit st anger was not their best and that they would never produce another cd like it!
I don't feel they lost many fans, metallica fans stick with it and will alwasy support them. If fans did stray this new cd will bring them back!

Yeah, they ll record pure metal, without computer crap. If this is their returning to roots i dont think that we ll have songs like Nothing else matters on new cd. And for the record i will always support them no matter what. I like to pretend that St.Anger was never recorded. Thanks for your response.

I certainly hope so. They've been letting down their elder fans for a long time, honestly I find most of the stuff they've been producing after Black Album to be totally blend and unispiring, nothing alike the epic musical compositions they've come up with far back in their golden days. I've read they've been going through their older stuff in order to get inspiration enough to produce an old-school styled album though, so let's see what's the outcome.

hey man know what we all agree that st anger was not up to themark but we got to appreciate metallica for experimenting.a very few bands do that.anyways i heard the new album which they are bound to release will be soundnig like the days of master of puppets.lars is not loger going to use the drums which sound on beating on tin cans.it is going to be typical calssic Metallica again.Rock on.

Metallica are a great band and are probably just going through a bad patch creatively. I think that sometimes you have to go through this bad period to feel inspired again- I mean they say that great art is often created through unhappiness. Perhaps they new album will be bad as well, but only because they are to secure in their lives. It's up to the real fans to give them some home truths, make the bands feel worthless and then hopefully we will see another great Metallica album.
