This really ruined my day

I woke up to an article my husband had emailed me this morning. It seems the O.C. has been canceled. They will show the final episode on Feb. 22nd. I have watched this show for 4 years now & have loved it. I think this season has been a bit weird but didn't think they would cancel it. I am so tired of really getting into shows only to have the networks pull it & replace it with garbabge I would never watch.

Let's see. I live in the O.C. I saw the show two or three times. I couldn't relate to it. It's nothing like really living in the O.C.
I don't watch much TV. Every time I like a show it gets cancelled. Like China Beach, Dharma and Greg, Greg the Bunny, and so on.
When I really hate a show, like Friends, and Seinfeld, it lasts for years and years.
So now I don't invest much emotional energy in shows.

I agree it seems like shows I can't stand last forever. The shows I like always seem to get cancelled.

I am totally disappointed and i absolutly agree with u! I will miss the show because it is yet another that me and my best frined get into together to have it ripped away. And i thought this season weird or not was looking up in ways....I think its crazy that they wanna take it off now.

I thought they already said that season 4 is their last season at the end of season 3? And yes, this season is kinda weird. Not as "addictive" as the previous season. I still like it nonetheless.

I totally agree. I LOVE this show. My husband and I have watched every episode. Havent missed one yet! I cant believe its going off the air. What a bummer.

I'm a bit delay, but I couldn't agree more. It seems like there were so many O.C. fans, why would they cancel it? I am still missing the O.C. to this day.

you know, i was sad at first. i admit i'm addicted to this show. however, this season they have really jumped the shark. i think its time they put it to rest.

I am devistated by the O.C.'s cancellation. I am an avid wactcher of this show, and I absolutely love it. I am basically obsessed with this show. Adam Brody is adorable. I wish they hadn't put Grey's Anatomy on the same night because that is what split their ratings. The writers of this show have taken several liberties with the writing since it is being cancled, and that is why this season has been odd. I am just dissapointed with the network's choice.
