Is this game all that great? (Gears of War)

it is a really good game and i am a ver yvery casual gamer and play only very specific titles and i actually bought these since its a great piece of software and everyone should buy it and play it , it is the best

The game is particularly good when you take advantage of an HD television, and its definitely more fun playing with someone else on a way harder difficulty. I'm not sure why it's not grabbing you, i absolutely loved that game, though i suppose it's appeal is only week long and once you play out your addiction it's gone for a long time.

I started off playing campaign and the online bored me, after beating campaign on insane i started to enjoy online more. i play a lot now and i mostly got into it by playing campaign.

Once you've got the controls down the online play is very fun if you play the right types

Gears of war is one of the most graphically and tech intensive games created so far. The storyline is quite good, but it depends on your sense of liking People like the game mainly because of its replay value, and graphic niceness

trust me once you get in the game it is gr8 and once you beat it u will love the online play....trust me if your into halo 2 you will be into this

Its a little slower then Halo but when playing with a friend and having to go into live battle and being shot at, just to save your buddy cause he got kill and then run for cover while still shooting. Just keep playing it. It gets better as you get deeper into the game. The first board I didn't think it was all that much either but after getting use to the controls and getting deeper into it. You won't be able to put it down.

Gears of war is the best game for xbox 360! it has the best use of a chainsaw ever!!! the best graphics and moves.

This game is ownage. Its one of the best games i've ever played. Ive completed it on every difficulty level and I still love it!

The online feature does give this game a replay value. The cover and duck aspect is flawless and the active reload does add some challenge into the gameplay. Although this is not your avergage Halo or GoldenEye shooter, it does gives a new level of depth to the shooter genre. It does takes a while to get used to with the controls and strategy aspects of the games but all in all it is an awesome game.

well i undertsnad your opinion i too could not get into this game right away but after countless attempts at getting better the game game gets better.

I honestly was hooked the second I started playing. Probably one of the best games I've played in awhile and one of the main reasons I got an Xbox360
