I am in the middle of writing a thriller. I have had some of my poems published. I entered a few contests and they got published. I am almost done writing my book of poetry. It gets a bit hard when you have so many ideas floating around inside your head at the same time. I put aside so many hours during the day to write, which is easy as I don't work. Another idea I have is to write about the hell I went through to move over to Scotland, maybe help someone else to avoid all the garbage.

Wow! Congrats! Good luck with the novel. Where did you move to Scotland from? I'm Scottish. :]

Yes I have written a novel. It is currently only being published in Europe, and will soon be in the USA. However, I cannot reveal the name because I am a ghostwriter.

Oh man, this is a sore issue with me, I've started and abandoned something like 6 or 7 novels at this stage, never getting over more than 50 pages or so written, but I'm working on one at the moment and I have promised myself that I will see it through, I think the important thing is to break the psychological barrier- anyone with a reasonable level of literacy and enough dedication can write a novel, most people just decide that they could never do it and thus they handicap themselves before they have a chance to begin

I wish you all the luck in the world! I really hope you get this one finished so we can all read it in the future.

I'm the same. I think it would take up too much of my time at the moment but i'm really interested in trying.

I have not written a novel, but I have self-published a cookbook of Danish recipes.
