How many discussions u have started on mylot ???

I have started just three discussions and only got one reply to one of them. Now I just reply to other people's discussions. What is the point in me starting a discussion if no one is going to reply to it? Are there any tips for getting people to reply to your discussions? I read in another discussion that people are just replying to discussions without even reading what the discussion is about. Then there reply is completely inappropriate. That is just silly.
