I need a friend - A Real Friend that is willing to help each other

I realized that in my 2 weeks here in MyLot,I find it very hard to get a lot of responses. I mean, I am lucky already if I'll get 5 responses on a discussion. I even get envious to those lucky ones who are getting 100's and others even get 1000+ responses for a discussion with just yes or no answer. I tried to post a quality topic but still hard to get responses. I even tried to post also a very simple one to see if I would be lucky to get replies too, but no luck at all.
So I have thought of this idea, Anyone who wants to be my friend please add me up and I will add you to my list too. But we must agree to help each other. I will help you on your discussions by answering it and you have to do the same too. How is that?
To those who disagree to this, you are still welcome to reply to this post. I want to hear your thoughts...

Hey girl! I totally agree with you! I try to visit my friends' discussions and make time out of my day to answer any that I can. I just added you as a friend. I will be sure to respond to yours if you do the same.
Like you, my discussions barely get 3 if I am lucky! :( I don't know why. I try to post interesting topics... *SIGH*

I understand what you mean, you can add me to your friends list if you want, I kind of limit them, delete some occasionally and refuse a lot of requests because they have bathetic profiles and post trash discussions and replies, I don post many discussions, only when i have something good to share, I don't expect my friends to answer to all my discussions, just hope they will check and answer to "some" if they like it and if they can add a good reply not just 2 words, I search for new discussions my friends started before going anywhere else but I won't reply to all, only when I think it's interesting. remember it's about quality, if that's ok for you add me to your list :)

This is a clever idea but I checked with the discussion guidelines and found out that we cannot start a discussion soliciting responses, this one is sure going contrary to that guideline in its wider sense, and all those who will do this may be penalized (scary huh?). But don't worry, I think mylot will not do so since it also promotes friendship as indicated by the button "discussions started by your friends". But I do like to have a clever friend like you, though I cannot promise I would respond to your discussions, but will look into those you have started and will respond as I see fit which I think would not be difficult since it would not be difficult for a clever girl to start an interesting question. Also, thanking for responses is not profitable according to the guidelines.

to get alot of responces you need to make discussion about everyday life and like people are into like wat job do you do? stuff like that.

Yea i agree with u 100% whtever u said is absolutely right...actually i experienced the same wht u felt...
So lets be good friends and help each other.....reply me wht do u feel about this because i too felt the same wht u felt few months back...

i agree to that coz that's how friendships here in mylot actually start and develop. i never denied a friend request, however, most of them just take and don't give as much. but i'd like to think that maybe, they got too many friends too, and get busy replying to each of their posts which takes them long to reply to mine. that happens to me (too many posts to reply to, hehe), but i try hard to spread my scanty time among friends' discussions so i won't leave anyone out for a long time. i guess we just have to be patient sometimes :)

I thought I was the only one with that problem..you know I agree with you.. I have put up like ten different dicussions and can hardly get anyone to reply to mine.. I reply to alot of other peoples discussions, but never get the favor returned... so if anyone can add me as friend as well, and we can do an even exchange..Maio im adding you as a friend..
