How do you mean that movies affect society? I don't really see how that happens. Can you give examples? I think it's more accurate that movies affect society.

when a movies produced the idea come from society when movie released many people says that this movies effect our society but please notice that the main idea comes from society so indirectly society effects movies and then movies effect society.

my dear the concept of movie come from a very short part of a society but the movie effects the each and every part of society.second is movie is very far from the real society concept some marketing factors are also there in the movie.
