Mark McGwire is eligible for the Hall of Fame this upcoming Tuesday. I know he hasn't been proven to taking steroroids, but he dodged those questions in congress like Paris dodges getting a real job! As for me, I wouldn't induct him this year, I'd atleast wait to protest and see if more information came out over the next year. What do you think the voters should do?

Yes I do. McGwire revitalized baseball with the Home Run Race!
If they don't have proof, they should not snub McGwire.

True, I too think he should get in, but not the first time... I'd like to see what happens over the next couple years to see who else is cheating...

I think that he should be because what he was taking at the time was not yet against MLB rules. I don't think it fair to punish him because of that reason. BOnds is diiferent, because he still plays and is still under suspition. But also if nothing is proven, how can you justify punishing him? It would be like someone punishing you for stealing, even though they couldn't prove it.

Good point! I agree with in one aspect in that you either have to let all the players from the 90's in or you have to keep all of them out! Maybe they "cheated", but if they did, baseball really didn't care at the time...

You think they should, even on his first year of eligibility?

To be honest, all I remember is he broke somebody's homerun record (wasn't it the Babe's??) barely topping his heller competitor, Sammy Sosa...that and he's a large, redheaded, God-fearing (or so he says anyway) man from down south.

I'm glad you answered to the best of your ability! Most women would just skip this one!

Do we need to ask that? Mark McGwire will certainly be in the Hall of Fame. Though that steroids issue could haunt McGwire's entry tomorrow, no matter what year will he be inducted, McGwire is now assured of a place in the HOF. My guess, he will be inducted this year because of that legendary home-run race for the all-time record and against Sammy Sosa.
