Haha, this happened to me. I didn't even notice it because the fridge was old and the fridge light switch didn't always turn on. So something started to smell inside the fridge and I didn't know what. So first I threw out some vegetables I had there. But the smell didn't go away. Then I threw out everything else and realized the fridge was broken. It was in the middle of the Summer and I couldn't keep anything cold to drink in the house for a few days!

It's the begining of January in Michigan, you would think I could put it outside to stay cold but no its like 46 degrees outside. thankfully he brought it and I now have everything getting cold again.

That's good then. One trick that can help in these situations is putting all the food in a cooler or even putting some ice in the freezer and keeping the food in there. It'll keep cool for a while. But being without a refrigerator is really annoying. You always take these things for granted but when they suddenly break down... :|

I just hope and pray mine lasts. I think it has been here since the house was built 15 years ago. I hope myLot pays me enough that a can save for that fateful day.

I used to work for an appliance repair company. Believe me, you are not alone. Many people think that it is the worst thing in the world. be greatful it didn't happen at sometime when you wouldn't be able to go without it, like before you were hosting thanksgiving or christmas or something, because that seems to happen to people a lot.
