I thought you got money for responses from your discussions.

Zephory, you get paid if YOU respond to other people's discussions or you start new discussions of your own... but you don't get paid if someone responds to a discussion that you started. If that were the case, you'd be getting paid for other people's time, basically. If you refer people to sign up (using your referral URL), you can earn a bit based on their participation too. I am pretty sure u do NOT get paid for responses.. only the responses that YOU post and the discussions that you post..

I am a little confused about this, as well. I have noticed that you don't earn a point when you post a new discussion, so I am not certain what the point is of posting a topic yourself if you don't gain any points for it? One person on here said that you get a point when someone replies to your topic, but I don't believe that i have noticed that to be the case so far. I do know that you can earn more money by people giving you plus ratings here on Mylot, though, which I can see as being one major advantage to posting a good new topic. I try to give a plus rating immediately to anyone who I see who has started a new topic that I plan to reply to. Anyway, let us know if you find out anything more concrete! ^_^
