To the stay at home moms out there... do you miss your job? I know staying at home is really a full time job. I understand that now. I was a teacher before I had my son. I miss it some days, but I feel lucky that I am able to stay home with him.

I have to agree with you, I do love being able to stay home with my little one. But there are those days that I want to go crazy! I think that when my son is a little older I'm going to try to get a part time job, just a way to get out of the house for a few hours every other day. Maybe meet more moms like us who can get together every now and then to have a drink and just relax.

I have a group of moms/babies that we meet up with once a week. The babies come along too, but it is nice having some adult conversation.
I just started doing some tutoring. It's great as I am able to make a little bit of money and use my mind as well.

I thought I missed it, but then realized that I was angry for having lost my job. I can't trade the time I spend here ever, so I just kind of write and teach dance on my own.
There is a lot to having a job, but there is nothing like having your own business.

I'm sorry you lost your job, but it is great that you can now teach dance on your own and do the things you enjoy.

I was actually working as a CNA & also working with my degree (internship) a Bachelor's in Social Work. I don't miss the work @ all. I mean, I loved what I did-- but, I love what I do now even more & couldn't imagine having to go back & leave my child. I feel very fortunate to be able to stay at home as well-- it's the BEST JOB!
