I was thinking of playing some games while we get ready at her house before dinner. Also an ideas on what to do after dinner

Hi Carlie :) One activity that I know of that is kind of fun involves taking photographs (which you can ultimately put all together in a souvenir book for your friend). These days, everyone has a digital camera or a camera on their mobile phone, disposable cameras, whatever... so it's not hard to organize. You make up a list of photographs that the bride has to take over the course of the night (so the "game" can extend from the time you are getting ready, straight through until the end). You can have a bag of "props" too, where the bride to be has to wear a specific prop in a specific photo. Example -- she might have to have her photo taken with a cab driver while wearing a clown wig or a oversized sunglasses. Or maybe she has to have a photo with no less than three waiters while wearing her Mum's best apron. Silly examples but I'm sure you'll get what I mean. You can make them as raucous as you think Mum will tolerate LOL If you make a good list ahead of time, it can really be hilarious. I'm sure that Mum wouldn't be offended because it's just good fun, nothing "inappropriate".
You didn't mention where you're going after dinner so I'm not sure if that's the kind of idea you wanted or if it's ideas for being at someone's home, etc.... but there's always things like organizing a group belly dancing class or a group salsa dancing lesson, things of that nature. Then again, maybe Mum will be tired after dinner and you won't need MY tame suggestions LOL I hope you have a super time!
