What day or event changed your life for good?

Doesn't everybody have one particular day or event that really has made such an impact on you, that it changed your life (way of thinking) for good? For me personally it was finding my religion. That changed my life, obviously it wasn't just all in one day. But more a certain period. And it has had a big impact on my life and the choices I have made since. I am happy and thankfull I was blessed like this. What was it for you, what changed your life drastically?
