The Bimbonic Duo: Paris Hilton & Britney Spears...What's so great about them?

What is it that people find oh-so-fab-u-lous about these two and their fellow clones, that brings their latest drama--from getting knocked up to breaking a nail--to the tippy-top of search engines, the umpteenth magazine cover, the latest news coverage, or competing with more serious matters, such as, oh...war, devistating natural disasters, the end of the world and so forth?
[cue valley talk:] I, like, don't get it...
Seriously, I can't even grocery shop without my eyes coming across a photo of either of the two on some glossy, or read online news with seeing their faces plastered all over the page. What's worse? Now they're combined together as one All-Mighty Force, by the looks of it, as they're being obsessed over while they pose arm-in-arm (teehee). God help us.
Oh and now, as I was trying to read Yahoo's front page for decent news to read, which triggered this rant to begin with.. Lindsay Whatshername has appendicitis!*tear*
Who******* cares? Really. It's like that annoying song that keeps popping into your head and won't go away, because it keeps showing up in commericals that are played over and over again.
What is the big deal? Who cares? Make it stop...

Lots of people must or they wouldn't be in all those places... I guess women must be dominating our society or maybe it's just s ex that dominates our society! I personally don't follow it all that much, but I could see how lots of people like to see what they are doing, because they are the American dream... Maybe I went a bit far with that statment, but seriously have you ever seen an uproar about a person, because they don't wear panties, or are somewhat attractive and filthy rich for the simple reason that their parents are!?! I wish women like Ivanca Trump were in the news more often, because she's hot and she's trying to do something with herself!

Yeah, I generally don't keep up much with famous people, aside from what I'm almost forced to see just from trying to read or watch the news, but I'm not so much bothered by the people who at least have half a brain and a sense of self-worth, unlike the people mentioned above, it seems.

As much as we select few want them to stop they will not. For where there is Paris and Britney there is money in their pockets because people just eat their papers and magazines up to read about them. Go figure.

Bimbonic - have not heard the expression before. But it is certainly iconic. Nice one.
Paris Hilton is somebody wishful thinking women want to be.
A - heiress
A - model, signed up with the best of modelling agencies
A - television celebrity
A - movie actress
A - book co-author
Many women would be happy in their wishful thinking state to be even just one of the above. There are many more that I have just not listed.
And all of this before she is 25!
Britney Spears - another amazing woman.
She is in the top ten popular musicians of the world. And she took a 5 year sabbatical, and had two kids as well.
Many men I know fantasize about Paris Hilton, but put them in a room with her, would turn into awkward bumbling fools. They are ok otherwise.
Many women either will go gushing or catty!
I look at them from a distance, enjoy what I like about them and do not worry too much about what they do or do not do. Cheers.

Recent PH news does not sound too good. After her burst of overachievement, she seems to be hell bent on hurting herself.
Though some people believe that this is another of her publicity stunts, something tells me that she is really hurting herself bad.

I think that Paris Hilton has the less talent out of all of them. She really has nothing that she has done to make her famous except be from a family who is very wealthy. She would have never gotten famous if it wasnt for that. She made an album and everything, but without her being from a rich family, it would have never been made. She is not a good actress either and the only reason why she is so popular is because people are fascinated by this girl who has millions and is hot and parties all the time. If it weren't for any of that she would be a nobody.
I think Britney Spears has the most talent out of all them. She really was the first big single pop star of the 90's and she rose to stardom almost overnight. She has made music and her music used to be good. Don't even deny it, we all knew we liked her when she first came out.

All I can say is that I'm very glad that my daughter does not look at either of them as someone to emulate. Gag.. Paris makes me even more sick.. she is rich, but she still wants fame on top of that! Then to top it off, she has nothing to offer to get the fame. Blah..
