What book are you currently reading?
And what book did you finish before that?
I am reading Girls Guide to Witchcraft by Mindy Klasky... Its very good so far and has gotten my interest right off.
Before that I started Morrigans Crossing by Nora Roberts.. It took me quite awhile to get in to this book, but once I did I was hooked and found it really good.

I am currently reading a book called The Book Of Werewolves which was originally published in 1865. It is an interesting look at the myths and folklore surrounding werewolves.
Prior to that I read a true crime book on female killers aptly titled Women That Kill.
Cheers!

recently I have not read much as I have a six month old baby and I am trying to finish my last semester of software programming and posting on mylot in my free time. Last I had finished the book in may 2006 The woman of substance, by barbara taylor bradford. I got hooked to her series of Emma harte and was really gobbling them up. Last week my husband has got mer a book Javier Moro Passion India. Its written on the back cover that iitys a story of spanish princess of kapurthala,a scandal that had rocked colonial society in British India. A true story of love and betrayal. I have not yet started it, due to lack of time but I mean to read it. Lets see when I start.

I just finished, "The Magic of Shirley Jackson," edited by her husband. It contains her short stories ("The Lottery" is probably the most famous) as well as two novellas/novels, one entitled, "The Bird's Nest," which gives a great portrayal of multiple personality disorder, so much so that I found it disturbing, and the hilarious, "Life Among the Savages," which I had heard of but never read before. If you've read some Shirley Jackson short stories but not the latter novella, I would strongly recommend it. It gives an entirely different perspective on the author and it's VERY enjoyable. It was one of the books that I was sorry to see end.

Hi .. I am currently reading 'My Name Is Red' by the Nobel Prize winner Orhan Pamuk . He is a Portuguese writer . It is a wonderful and scintillating piece of story-telling and it is not too difficult to grasp as well . Book lovers should read it at all costs , if they haven't already .. bye ..

I am currently reading Walk On: The Spiritual Journey of U2 by Steve Stockman, which is, as a biography of U2 with a more spiritual/religious slant. I'm also reading Ghosts of the Molly Maguires? by Betty Lou MacBride. I picked this one up when I was on vacation in the Poconos. It's about the strange experiences visitors to the old Carbon County Jail have had and raises the possibility that it might be haunted.
I just finished The Bernini Bust by Iain Pears, a mystery novel.

I am actually reading several books at the moment... they are at various places in my house, my purse, and my mom's house which is why there are so many I'm in the middle of:
So Long and Thanks for All the Fish by Douglas Adams
Fluke by Christopher Moore
The Secret by Deepak Chopra
Brother Odd by Dean Koontz
Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz (this is my 3rd time reading this one - and it's at my moms .... which is why I'm reading it at the same time as Brother Odd).
What did I finish before these? The 2nd & 3rd books in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.

Well, i just got done reading "Spy High" and it was an amazing book. If your looking for a good book, you'll want to try the Alex Rider series. It's about a teenage spy, who saves the world. The first book is called "Stormbreaker" and is in a series of 6 books. Anthony Horowitz, the author, is my all time favorite author.

I'm currently reading a non-fiction book, "Getting Your Life Back - The Complete Guide To Recovery From Depression", written by Jesse H. Wright and Monica R. Basco.
I bought this book from Amazon just about a month ago, in the hope to slowly recover from depression, because it seemed like my medication alone ain't 100% helping me on this. but i'm still in earlier chapters. i hope to share it with other ppl on the net too, visit my website http://hitthenet.org/depressionblog if you are a depressed. tq. ;)

Im reading Plato's Republic to raise my IQ a bit hopefully and Im also reading a book about the history of coffee called Black Gold, by Anthony Wild. I just finished reading Only Human by Tom Holt, which was a major disappointment as I was hoping for something as good as Douglas Adams but it was more at the level of Terry Pratchet even had a joke in it about him and it wasn't very funny at all

I didn't think I would like Morrigan's Crossing, it seemed like a such a different angle than what I'm used to reading from Roberts, but I really liked it. I finished the last two for the trilogy a few weeks ago, was a good read. Right now I'm stuck out of town and at my mother's for the holidays, so I'm going through her Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich.

I am halfway through Eye of The World, it's the first book in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, there are 10 other books to go, and then maybe one more to finish it, so it should keep me occupied for a few months at least!
Before that I was reading London Bridges by James Patterson, I really like his Alex Cross books

I am currently reading Fever 1973 by Laurie Halse Anderson. I was reading before that Fahrenhiet 451 and just finished reading that not to long ago.
I had to read it in the summer and I read it at least three times. I had to read it because I was getting into Pre-AP English...but they said it was too full, so I was put in regular English. Therefore, we jsut started to read it in regular English. I practically have that book memorized!!
But, it was a really great book. And so is the one that I am reading now! :D
