Big winners?

Well my great aunt and her husband won 8 million but i'm not sure how much they actually got after taxes. These people are very homely people and very religious which is great. They have invested in a lot of land and built a new house but other than that you would never know they were millionairs. I saw my aunt the other day in the dollar store and she looks exactly the same as she did before she was rich. I am glad for them and their children and I know they help people hwo are not as fortunate as they are. They have been blessed but that happened before they got the money.

That is a great question! I know two people personally who have won some decent money. One of them lives in Australia and a few months ago, she was part of a group who won the lottery. The other person is my mother in law. This woman is one of the luckiest people I have ever met. She has not won the lottery. That is illegal where we live, but she can go spend an evening at the casino near us and win enough money to pay her bills for the month with some left over. A year ago, she won a jackpot big enough to buy a pickup truck. LOL As for these people on tv, I have no idea if they are actors or not. I have also wondered this myself. It REALLY is just luck or chance to win something like that, because there are so many people entering. I don't even bother entering. hehe

Well I won a $1000.00 on a scratch off once. Then my Uncle won $150,000. on the state lottery a few years ago. But that is it for me. I just don't know about publishing clearing house, every time I have entered, I won a chance to buy more magazines, LOL.

An aunt of mine won 15,000$ on a prize bond once.
