My "big brother" (best male friend during high school years) and his friends played D&D, they would never let me play. They said it wasn't for girls, the pigs, lol.
The only board games I still play occasionally are R.I.S.K., Monopoly (it's boring on pc!), and Trouble.

I used to have a friend who thought he was a real wizard, used to dress up in a black robe and everything when a group of us played that game as kids, it was about this time that I thought I was a superhero!
And yes it was strange that girls wasn't allowed to play although I could have sworn someone bringing out a rule book or something stating that this was not allowed, unless I dreamt it, I do dream alot of nonsense!

I like Monopoly and I still play it to date. Great thing about that is you can play on console, online, or in real.

I'd still like to play monopoly today or any other day but no one will play it in this house, and Online it would'nt seem right! or even the same as holding that fake money in your hand when you have bought some fake properties and avoided jail.
AAhh the good ol days!

We still play board games and tv connection games and a few on line games. Our board games are: Winopoly, Kings in the Corner, Uno, Chess, Checkers, Operation, and a few others. We like to share time and the games are entertaining.

I still play a lot of Roleplaying games, when I get the time, mainly Unknown Armies, I also enjoy playing board games whenever I have the chance. I normally play Carcassone, Cosmic Encounter and RoboRally, but I always love trying out new games.
I do not think that computer games can really compare, since they leave out the imagination, and feel very limited when compared to tabletop roleplaying games.

Are there any more Dungeons and Dragons board games out there? I would really love to see a game or a real movie (not the crappy Dungeons and Dragons movies that were out recently) about Dungeons and Dragons..probably merged with Magic the Gathering.

Yes I'd like to see some more fantasy movies, I thought after the lord of the rings it would pave the way for more great fantasy films but I was wrong, eragon is the only one that springs to mind.
Maybe when I finish my books a couple of film deals will be made and then......oh I've woke up now!
