Technology: Curse or Cure?

Undoubtedly, we've made major technological advances over the past century. We've entered a world of instant communication, high definition televsion, cell phones, and tons of modern marvels. But is this good or bad? I enjoy the Internet and the potential it affords, but I also feel like technology is alientating us. Sites like Facebook supposedly bring us closer together, but I feel like, in reality, they are tearing us apart. Everything is so impersonal nowadays. What do you guys think?
