I like myspace! I finally got in touch with my sister who i havent seen in over 10 years, nor have i heard from her. Plus i keep in contact with all my friends from high school over myspace.
sure the html and css is bad, but as a place for looking for someone its great!
I guess myspace has its ups and downs but you get that everywhere.

Wow thats great that you got to get in touch with your sister after so long. I wish I could talk to both my sisters that I haven't even met yet but I know there names. How did you go about finding your sister on myspace??

I really love Myspace! It is a great way for me to stay in touch with my friends, and find old friends to connect with. It's also a great way to manage your blogs, join groups, do some networking, find jobs, watch online videos...I mean, it's the ultimate boredom-killer! The only disadvatage is that it becomes addictive. I really enjoy Myspace and how it allows me to connect with old friends and meet new people.

I despise myspace. The main redeeming quality is the representation of new and non-mainstream music. You can also get connected with people that you haven't seen in awhile. However, you can do that with Facebook as well, and facebook has more protective-restrictive measures. Facebook feels safer. People's pictures aren't gross. Not just anyone can find you. It is just so much better in my opinion than myspace.

My views on myspace change every now and then. It just depends. It was so hyped up at first. Everybody has a myspace is what it looks like. Myspace is as common as email or messenger. I like it for finding people I went to school with or meeting new people in my area, but I'm not into the whole spamming everyone pages with clipart comments or who has the best HTML skills with the fancy pages. I like the communication features, but some people take it to far.

I love myspace! I have reconnected with old friends and long lost relatives. I know there is a down side. But if parents stay involved and watch their kids, they should be fine. As with anything, it can be used for good and it can be evil. It's all about who's controlling that mouse. It also takes common sense. DONT post personal info or pics you wouldn't want your mother to see :)

I like myspace. If you are there to just reconnect with old friends, and let loose than I think it is a good place. Although if you are a nieve kid....than NO GOOD!!! As far as kids go I think parents should be more attentive to what the kiddies are doing online. But as far as adults go hey more power to ya!!! :)

Hate it with a passion. I do quite a bit of web development in my spare time and from the work I do I would never create pages that you find on Myspace whatsoever. Some of them are so badily designed its hard to believe people like them. For example, who in their right mind would create a page with Red writing all over it on a bright pink background and think its brilliant?
The accessibility of Myspace for those who have trouble reading webpages must be phenominal lol.
Just my thoughts on the whole thing anyway. lol

My husband and I are HUGE fans of it. We both have over 100 friends and we are constantly either updating our page or changing things. It's a really great place to express yourself and to do it for free.

In general myspace is pretty good. I've had some mix reactions on people who message me. I don't really trust people on the net who wants to become my friends straight away. Especially the pyscho myspace friend counterers who just want to have as many people add them to the list of friends.
I've had a few strange request by men which I find disturbing. Only cos its easier to do it on the net than elsewhere.

I've had myspace for ages but I didn't start using it regularly until I met my boyfriend. Most of my friends at university have facebook, but myspace has really taken off in the non-college world (meaning high school students and older people). I ignore friend requests of people I don't know. It worries me that there aren't better privacy options.
